Discover the rich history and hidden stories behind Spokane’s most iconic park on this 90-minute guided walking tour, covering just under two miles. Learn how early developers used parks and streetcars to shape neighborhoods, hear the rise-and-fall tale of Manito’s former zoo, and explore the origins of Spokane’s nickname, The Lilac City. Along the way, you’ll visit the tranquil Nishinomiya Tsutakawa Garden, the award-winning rose gardens, the historic Gaiser Conservatory, and the stunning Duncan Garden. Guided by Erich Ebel, Washington historian, author, and podcaster. Tours require a minimum of 4 participants to take place.
