Taste & Trek Spokane: Where the Trail Meets the Table: September 26–28, 2025

Something new is coming to Spokane this fall—and it’s rooted in flavor, movement, and meaningful connection. Taste & Trek Spokane is a three-day celebration that brings together the best of our region’s food, wine, trails, and untold stories. From September 26–28, join us for an immersive weekend of guided experiences that highlight both the vibrant culture of the city and the natural beauty that surrounds it.

Each day offers multiple ways to experience Spokane—whether through curated tastings downtown, guided hikes led by local experts, or tours that blend the city and the wild in one powerful journey. Taste & Trek is designed to be both grounded and elevated, deeply local, and completely unique.

✦ The Weekend Lineup ✦

Friday, September 26 – Choose Your Path

Start your weekend with three unforgettable options:

  • Guided Hike at Iller Creek with survival expert Charlie Brouck of Herbal Expeditions. Learn about edible plants, backcountry wisdom, and the ecology of one of Spokane’s most scenic trails.

  • Sites & Bites Walking Tour through downtown Spokane, with local food tastings and stories of the people and places that shape the city.

  • Downtown Wine Tour highlighting Spokane’s best tasting rooms, winemakers, and hidden gems of the local wine scene.

Saturday, September 27 – The Best of Both Worlds Saturday brings a full lineup of city and trail:

  • Guided Iller Creek Hike (Day 2) with Charlie Brouck, for those who missed Friday or want to go deeper.

  • Sites & Bites Tour, back with it's lineup of local eateries and stories.

  • Urban Wilderness Hike: From Pavement to Pines – a signature experience that starts in the city and winds into wild terrain, showcasing how Spokane’s urban and natural spaces are beautifully connected.

Sunday, September 28 – Exclusive, Elevated, and Local End the weekend with two powerful experiences:

  • Glen Tana to Rattlesnake Ridge Hike – an exclusive opportunity to explore private land not open to the public. This guided hike includes a beautiful food and beverage spread at the summit with sweeping views and deep history.

  • Spokane Uncovered City Tour – a deep dive into the layers, legends, and local color of Spokane. This tour reveals the stories often overlooked, giving voice to the unexpected.

Why Taste & Trek? Because Spokane is layered, surprising, and full of stories waiting to be shared. We created Taste & Trek to slow things down, deepen connection, and spotlight the people and places that make this region shine.

We believe in:

  • Supporting all local voices—from small businesses to nonprofits to creatives, educators, and culture keepers

  • Uplifting stories that don’t always get heard

  • Exploring the relationship between city and land, flavor and movement, past and future

  • Creating something real, grounded, and community-driven

Taste & Trek is not just an event. It’s a celebration of Spokane—raw, refined, and ready to be experienced in a whole new way.

Taste. Trek. Connect. Repeat.
